Jeremiah Was Saved

Thanks to a very wonderful donor who helped us to save the 20 year old Quarter horse gelding (who we have named Jeremiah) he is safe and has been adopted. Turns out he is a VERY well broke, bomb proof horse and the sweetest guy you ever met! Although he has been adopted it is very likely he will also be used as one of the student horses for the up and coming Therapeutic Riding Center.

 

Speaking of The Therapeutic Riding Center keep your eyes and ears open for more info as things are moving forward now with that project. We can't wait to share when opening day will be!

 

Competitive Trail Challenge (UAWR fundraiser)

To sign up to participate you can go to www.actha.us and find Under the Angel's Wings Rescue CTC in Phelan, Ca and "Join this Ride".

 

 We are in need of volunteers to help out with the ride. NO horse experience needed, but those if you with horse experience we need you too for volunteer judges for the obstacles. Remember check out www.actha.uawr.com for a list of "Items Needed" along with Volunteer and Sign up info.

 

Volunteer Positions Still Available

 

 We still have volunteer positions we need to fill. We have the following duties: Horse Walkers, Horse Schooling, Stall/Horse Maintenance, Cleaning & Filling Water Buckets, General Maintenance, Tractor Owner/Operator, Volunteer Co-Coordinator, Fundraising Co-Coordinator, and Newsletter. Equine Festival (Apple Valley)

We are in need of volunteers who are very out going and great with people. We will be hosting a booth at the Equine Festival in Apple Valley where we will be passing out information about UAWR. We need people who can help to speak with the public to let them know what we do and how they can help. 

We need volunteers to help out the following hours.You can sign up for one hour or many hours whatever fits your needs and schedule.

7am (Setup) = Filled        9am - 10am =
