Mocha is missing due to some VERY sad and frustrating circumstances! He was adopted several years back and when we tried to get updates on him the adopter did not answer our emails or phone calls. We now recently found that he went to another family located in the Inland Empire who KNEW he belonged to UAWR but rather then doing the right thing and sending him back here when they could not handle him any longer they SOLD him to a horse trader from what we know or were told located in Fontana, Ca. We have no idea where he has gone from there and we fear the worst that due to his behavioral issues he may have been dumped at the auction.

 

Please help us to find Mocha. We just want to know that he is ok and offer him a life long home back here at UAWR if he is found. If the person who has him wants to keep him we are ok with that too we just want to know he is ok and help if needed. He is a very mis-understood horse that has been deemed "crazy" and he IS NOT he is just being mishandled and probably in a lot of pain due to chiropractic issues. When we got him his back and neck were out of place and he liked to rear up and over backwards but once the chiropractic issues were solved and some training he did great but we are told he is doing the same things now so he MUST be in pain again and needs help!

 

 

Mocha is very easy to identify. Notice the white scar marks on both his right and left side, He also have the same type of white scars under his belly where the girth would sit, and also white scar marks behind both ears. He has a a big white blaze, tall white sock on his left hind left and a short white sock on his left front leg. It is coming winter time now and he does turn a bit more red when he gets his fuzzy winter coat. (See Below)
